Corporate Finance Online Lecture Series (MOOC)

CLIENT: Stern Business School Professor Aswath Damodaran
THE CHALLENGE: Develop an innovative format for a lecture series that is optimized for online audience.
OUR SOLUTION:  Instead of simply filming an existing class, we opted for a more engaging approach designed specifically for viewing on the web. We placed our subject in beautifully lit settings, had him present to camera and optimized his PowerPoint slides for seamless video integration.

Tenth Anniversary Commemorative Film

CLIENT: Columbia University’s PhD in Sustainable Development Program
THE CHALLENGE: To research, direct, produce and deliver a short film involving multiple shooting locations in both New York and California.
OUR SOLUTION: We oversaw and directed bicoastal production teams – running units both in New York and California. By using local resources in each location, we were able to save our client money without sacrificing production values.

Two-Camera Interview with George Soros

THE CHALLENGE: On short notice, our client’s needs grew from single-camera event videography to a simultaneous two-camera lit interview setup where event participants could also be filmed.
OUR SOLUTION: Thanks to our extensive crew roster and ample in-house equipment inventory, fulfilling this request was a cinch — even on short notice.

Three-Camera, On-Location Live Event

CLIENT: NYU Steinhardt
THE CHALLENGE: Creating a new and engaging format for an oral history event, and designing and providing complete production services including video, audio and lighting at a live public event.
OUR SOLUTION: We borrowed our format from the TV series Insider’s the Actor’s Studio to present this live event in an innovative, engaging and video-friendly format. We scouted the venue and designed our equipment scheme in advance so we’d be able to set up quickly and then capture great footage without interfering with the experience of the live audience.
